Ray brings to his clients a strong professional background in real estate, sales and marketing, architecture, construction and development.
Ray grew up in Vancouver working in a family-owned construction and development company where he was involved with most of the construction trades and property management.
In college he acquired degrees in architecture and construction management. As he became increasingly interested in real estate, Ray completed numerous real estate programs and coursework in appraisals, real estate law, finance and investment analysis.
While at the University of Washington and upon graduation, Ray worked for various architectural and construction firms as a draftsmen, designer, inspector, contract administrator and project manager. Eventually, he settled in Gig Harbor, where he bought a lot and built a home. At this time, while still in his 20s, he took a position with the Tacoma Housing Authority. Soon, he was promoted to Supervisor of a 24-man construction maintenance crew which included carpenters, plumbers, electricians and other tradesmen.
After living and working in the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area for thee years, Ray went on to acquire a Master of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University. While in California, he also completed advanced appraisal and real estate coursework at U.C.L.A. and through The Appraisal Institute. He went on to pursue a successful career in marketing, sales and real estate brokerage.
